Scorpion Solitaire

Scorpion Solitaire

Scorpion Solitaire is a column based solitaire card game that is a little bit like a single deck version of Spider Solitaire. In addition to being played with only a single deck, there are some other significant differences between Scorpion Solitaire and Spider Solitaire. In Scorpion Solitaire, there are only 3 cards kept in reserve in case the player gets stuck. There are fewer columns, and many more cards are turned face up at the beginning of the game. The player can move a series of cards that is not fully packed between the columns. When the player has created a column of cards that is in sequence from King to Ace, it is not removed from play. The player moves the cards building them down by suit, instead of ignoring suit like one does when playing Spider Solitaire.
